Kansas City, MO – Wyandotte County commissioners approved the 2011 budget last night. The county's property tax rate will go up four-and-a-half percent there.

Kansas City emergency responders are concerned about a proposed Missouri law that would establish procedures for all ambulance services in the state.

Kansas City Council members must redraw council district lines before the next city general election in March.

Kansans with pre-existing health conditions now have a new coverage option. The Kansas Department of Insurance has announced it's taking applications for a new program developed through the federal health reform law.
