KANSAS CITY, Mo. –

  • The Missouri House is set to debate and vote on their version of a wide-ranging tax credit bill. 

     

  • Kansas is getting more than $5 million in federal funds to improve truck and bus safety. 

     

  • A member of the Kansas Arts Commission says it's down to its last $5,000, but still hopes to plan arts festivals and review past grants to local arts agencies. 

     

  • The head of the Kansas Film Commission says the state needs to improve its tax credits to try to entice more film productions to come to Kansas. 

     

  • The Dole Institute of Politics is hosting a constitutional law debate. Attorneys Gregory Katsas and Catherine Stetson will debate whether certain provisions of the federal health care law are constitutional.
