SNAP Leader Plans To Fight Court Order
The quest for discovery of evidence in an alleged priestly abuse case in Kansas City is turning more complicated. A Jackson County Circuit Judge has ordered the Survivors’ Network of Those Abused By Priests , or SNAP, to produce documents in defenders’ efforts to prove plaintiffs’ attorneys broke a gag order in the case. Missouri Lawmakers Plan Different Approach
Missouri lawmakers return to Jefferson City on Wednesday for the start of this year’s legislative session. 2011 was marked by House and Senate Republicans fighting with each other over tax credits and redistricting, while still managing to take pot shots at Democratic Governor Jay Nixon’s handling of the state budget. Some lawmakers are considering a different approach: crafting several smaller bills that cover just one or a few similar-subject tax credits instead of one all-encompassing bill.
