For over six years, NPR and KFF Health News have investigated real-life medical bills to shed light on the often-shocking prices of health care in the U.S.

These stories helped people learn about managing health care costs. They also contributed to policy changes. In 2021, Congress passed the No Surprises Act, shielding patients from most out-of-network bills in emergencies.

KFF Health News is continuing this reporting. Do you have a medical bill or explanation of benefits that you'd like reporters to see and scrutinize?

Submit your medical bill and share your story here.
