How To Get Your Record Reviewed On KCUR

The Arts & Culture team at KCUR reviews records by musicians and bands in the region. We believe more critical conversations can broaden and deepen our community's understanding of our area's artists and their work.

Our critics are listening to some country, pop, rock, indie and jazz, though they may venture into more classical recordings in the future.

We might spend weeks, or even months, listening to and thinking about a record after it comes out. We are selective. Not every record is ready for review.

If you would like us to consider your record, please send us links to downloads or mail us CDs or vinyl. Don't forget to include band bios.

Email links and bios to arts@kcur.org

A free press is among our country’s founding principles and most precious resources. As director of content-journalism at KCUR, I want everyone in our part of America to know we see them and we’re listening. I work to make sure the stories we tell and the conversations we convene reflect our complex realities, informing and inspiring all of us to meet the profound challenges of our time. KCUR prides ourselves on bringing local journalism to the public without a paywall — ever.

Our reporting will always be free for you to read. But it's not free to produce.

As a nonprofit, we rely on your donations to keep operating and trying new things. If you value our work, consider becoming a member.
