By Up to Date

Kansas City, MO –

 Listen Podcast

Getting clear information on health care reform can be hard. Opponents of reform have used politically charged terms like "socialism" and death panels, while proponents of the bill have said it will protect us from abusive, profit-hungry health insurance companies.

Up to Date spoke with Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger, and Julie Appleby of Kaiser Health News who has written extensively about health care reform. We answer questions, dispel myths, and examine how candidates are using health care reform as a whipping post this campaign season.
