KCUR And Reporter Elle Moxley Selected For 2016 NPR Political Partnership

KCUR

KCUR and KCUR reporter Elle Moxley have been selected to participate in NPR's 2016 Political Reporting Partnership. Moxley was one of 17 reporters selected from member stations across the country to participate.

Moxley and KCUR will work collaboratively with NPR to cover the 2016 elections from a state and local perspective. The collaboration will give national visibility to the issues of Kansans and Missourians as they elect new leaders.

"Elle has covered everything from a presidential visit to swimming pools for KCUR," says KCUR News Director Maria Carter. "She is dedicated to getting the story and getting it right, whether it’s on Twitter, the web or on KCUR 89.3."

Moxley joined KCUR in 2014 as a general assignment reporter. Previously, she covered Indiana schools as an education reporter for NPR’s StateImpact project. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri.

A California native, Briana comes to KCUR by way of KMUW in Wichita, Kan. and KUSP in Santa Cruz, Calif.
KCUR serves the Kansas City region with breaking news and award-winning podcasts.
