Tomorrow's College: How Higher Education Is Changing

Even with the price of tuition reaching record highs, going to college might be more common than ever. However, less than 10 percent of students actually finish with their bachelor’s degree by age 24.

Why are so many students struggling, or dropping out? Just who is shaping the future of higher education?

During the first half of Thursday’s Central Standard, we learn how today's college is changing. Education reporter Emily Hanford stops by to talk about her radio documentary series Tomorrow’s College. We'll explore the increasing financial burden for middle- and low-income students, the rise of for-profit, career-colleges and how digital technologies are changing how we experience higher education. Plus, studies tell us what it takes to finish college.
