Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Festival (Traditional Scottish athletic events, music, dancing), 
6 to 11 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at E.H. Young Riverfront Park, 1001 Argosy Parkway, Riverside. Tickets: $5 Friday, $10 Saturday and Sunday, $20 three-day pass; free for ages 12 and younger
 
Kansas City International Dragon Boat Festival (Dragon boat racing, children’s dragon parade, dancing, martial arts, puppet shows), 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Brush Creek at the Country Club Plaza. Admission: Free
 
Psychedelic Furs (Rock), 8 p.m. Sunday at The Midland, 1228 Main. Tickets: $9.65 (general admission, standing room only)
 
KC Festival of Fountains (Fountain-centric program featuring Marching Cobras and guided trolley tours of KC fountains), 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the front of Union Station, Main and Pershing.
