Kansas City, MO – Each year, the Coming Up Taller awards recognize community arts and humanities programs across the country for outstanding work with young people. More than two hundred fifty organizations were nominated in 2005. And last week, Lawrence based Van Go Mobile Arts Inc. was one of the organizations selected to receive the award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. KCUR's Laura Spencer talked to executive director Lynne Greene.
