Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Experience is not necessary to volunteer, just enthusiasm and commitment!
KCUR has a professional staff of approximately 40 full- and part-time employees, paid interns and work study students. Because of this, we typically do not need volunteers in the office on a daily or weekly basis. We primarily use volunteers during our on-air membership drives. During the drives, volunteers answer phones and take pledges.
We contact volunteers through email since it is the easiest way for us to reach a lot of people at one time. Please email Kevin Alexander at kevin@kcur.org with your name, email address and phone number. We will put your information into our volunteer database and notify you when volunteer opportunities arise.
