Kansas City, Missouri – Winfield, Kansas is home to the annual Walnut Valley Festival. The Winfield fairgrounds, 30 miles outside Wichita, transform into a four day concert every September, drawing 16,000 fans, most of whom camp the entire weekend. But, this gathering isn't just a place to hear music. As KCUR's Sara Lerner reports, it's a player's festival.
