Menopause the Musical at the American Heartland Theatre
Menopause the Musical at the American Heartland Theatre

This week, a silly musical about menopause and a documentary film on a lesser known star of the civil rights movement.By Sara Lerner

Kansas City, MO – Menopause the Musical at the American Heartland Theatre gets women rejoicing in the woes of mid-life and a collaboration of UMKC departments and community organizations brings a free screening of Brother Outsider to the Tivoli Theater . It tells the life story of one important activist and civil rights leader, Bayard Rustin.

The UMKC Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Initiative is one sponsor of the Brother Outsider screening.
