The swing vote in rural Missouri

By Laura Ziegler

KANSAS CITY – Swing voters in rural Missouri could decide the presidential contest in this bellwether state, and play a key roll in deciding over all outcome of the election. But these voters are not easy to peg. KCUR's Laura Ziegler traveled across Missouri, stopping rural stores, restaurants and gun clubs talking to the voters President Bush and Senator Kerry are trying to reach.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
