This week, the first one-person exhibition in the region of the photography and video work of Shirin Nestat, a new exhibit by Kansas City painter Dean Mitchell, and the UMKC Theatre Department unveils an original show with a circus theme that's been a year in the making. Kansas City, Missouri – This week, the first one-person exhibition in the region of the photography and video work of Shirin Nestat at the H & R Block Artspace at the Kansas City Art Institute, a new exhibit by Kansas City painter Dean Mitchell in the Changing Gallery of the American Jazz Museum, and the UMKC Theatre Department unveils an original show with a circus theme that's been a year in the making.
