KC CURRENTS 12-4-05

By Delores Jones and Sylvia Maria Gross

Kansas City, MO – A controversial series of t-shirts are pulled from the shelves in some Kansas City stores. But parents and community activists want a stronger reaction from the owners. Jackson County Prosecutor Mike Sanders calls for the death penalty for "Precious Doe"'s stepfather. Also, a series of sandblasted metal cutout figures at 10th and Main honor area bus commuters, and the legacy of Rosa Parks is commemorated by the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority with a new bus.
