KC Voters Face Another Light Rail Initiative

By Lee Ingalls

Kansas City, MO – On November 7, voters in Kansas City will decide whether to approve Question 2, which calls for a $975 Million dollar light-rail transit system. This is the seventh light-rail proposal put forward in the last nine years by activist and former Kansas City resident Clay Chastain. Some local transit advocates say the measure could harm existing transit services. KCUR's Lee Ingalls reports.
