Kansas City, MO – Jurors have cleared former Jackson County Executive Katheryn Shields, and her husband Philip Cardarella of all charges related to a scheme to cheat mortgage bankers by selling their house for more than it was worth. The jury convicted the two other defendants involved in the scheme.

Jurors had the case last week, and spent the better part of four days deliberating before reaching the verdict.
