Kansas City, MO – The theatre community prides itself of the fact that when the chips are down, another performer - usually an understudy - has your back. Cabaret nightspot Bar Natasha is demonstrating some of this quid pro quo all through April.

When Natasha mainstay Missy Koonce was given doctor's orders to rest her vocal chords after four years front and center, Kansas City actor Karen Errington was asked to step in. Musical director Anthony Edwards calls Errington a natural fit.

KCUR prides ourselves on bringing local journalism to the public without a paywall — ever.
