KANSAS CITY, MO –
KCUR Morning Headlines (2 min 5 sec)

  • Vehicle owners in Missouri who lose their driving privileges would be forced to use special license plates, under a transportation bill passed unanimously last week by the State Senate.
  • Three people were arrested yesterday after a shooting at a VFW hall in Grandview. An 18-year-old was seriously wounded after leaving a fundraising party there.
  • KU junior Brandon Rush might be playing in the NBA today if he hadn't injured his knee last year in a pick-up game. Instead, Rush is now hoping to help the Kansas Jayhawks win the national championship game tonight.
