Kansas City – Twenty years have passed since the first AIDS walk took place in Kansas City. KCUR's Health Reporter, Elana Gordon, met with some of those involved in the early days of the walk, who say that nowadays, AIDS doesn't have the stigma that it used to. But they say there's still a lot more to do.

Funding for health care coverage on KCUR has been provided by the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City.
