Kansas City, MO – A blaze at a fuel storage tank in Kansas City Kansas continues to burn. Officials say lightening from a line of strong thunderstorms struck the tank yesterday evening, setting off a spectacular fire at Magellan Midstream Partners that could be seen for miles.

Kansas Senator Pat Roberts is criticizing his main Democratic rival Jim Slattery for being late in filing his personal financial disclosure statement. But new questions are being raised about Roberts' own finances, including his ties to companies seeking big government contracts.

Several of Missouri's top-ranking super delegates endorse Democrat Barack Obama yesterday helping him reach the number needed for him to claim the party's presidential nomination.
