New Letters on the Air: Matthew Eck

Named one of the top five writers under 35 to watch by the National Book Foundation, Matthew Eck discusses his novel, The Farther Shore, touted by Salon as "the first great war novel of our generation." By New Letters on the Air

Kansas City, MO – Eck enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1992 and served in Somalia and Haiti before returning to the U.S. to earn degrees in literature and creative writing.
