Kansas City, MO – Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has released a list of state construction and maintenance projects he wants to see completed over the next two years.

The Kansas Highway Patrol and KDOT are endorsing a bill to outlaw sending, reading or writing text messages while driving.

The parents of a murdered teen are asking Kansas lawmakers to require phone companies cooperate with police to locate missing persons.

A Kansas Department of Health and Environment wants to clarify its policy on carbon dioxide.

For the first time in six years , Kansas and Missouri faced each other while both teams were nationally ranked. Kansas was ranked 16th in this week's Associated Press poll; Missouri was right behind at No. 17. In Columbia, the Tigers squeezed out a 62-60 victory on a last second shot.
