Kansas City, MO – The fate of a bill that would place new restrictions on abortions in Kansas remains unclear nearly a week after the measure was approved by the Kansas Legislature.

Governor Sebelius did sign a bill expanding the rape shield law in Kansas.

Further study leads to more financial worries for Kansas City, Missouri. This time over the cost of keeping Kemper Arena alive.

Pitcher Zack Greinke allowed just three hits in six-plus innings last night as the Kansas City Royals blanked the Chicago White Sox 2-0 to even their record at 1 and 1.
