Kansas City, MO –

  • Busts of meth labs are on the rise in Missouri. That's despite a new state law making it harder to buy ingredients to make the drug.
  • A nearly million dollar grant aimed at helping Kansas City inmates has been approved for the new regional jail.
  • Missouri's state budget office is reporting that general revenue is down 5% so far this year. The office also found that tax collections for May of this year declined by 45%.
  • Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is suing a Texas company for falsely promising to help Missouri customers with credit card debt.

  • KCUR prides ourselves on bringing local journalism to the public without a paywall — ever.
