Author Sarah Dunant discusses her latest historical fiction novel, Sacred Hearts, set during the time of the Italian Renaissance.

Sarah Dunant is the author of many international bestsellers, including The Birth of Venus, In the Company of the Courtesan and Mapping the Edge.

Sacred Heart is the third in a trilogy that are set in Renaissance Italy. In Sacred Hearts Dunant has an unusual cast of characters: residents of the convent of Santa Caterina in the Italian city of Ferrara.
