The two companies hoping to jointly build and operate a casino complex at the NASCAR racetrack in Wyandotte County faced questions today from a state review board. The companies requested a 60-day extension on their proposal.

Kansas health officials have released a new report on the state's dental workforce, and the news for rural Kansas is especially grim.

The anti-abortion group Operation Rescue says it's in a financial crisis and is close to shutting down.

It's official: the region extending from Manhattan, Kansas to Columbia, Missouri is now known as the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor.
