Kansas City, MO – When state lawmakers return to the Kansas Statehouse for the next session in January, the budget will be at the forefront of discussion.

A study among all colleges and universities in the country puts UMKC among the top twenty five for contributions to the community.

The University of Kansas is planning to offer both H1N1 and seasonal flu shots later this month.

Dan Watkins, a Lawrence attorney, who worked as senior adviser for President Barack Obama's presidential campaign in Kansas, has confirmed that he has been recommended for the top federal law enforcement post in the state.

The Coleman company is planning to move to a new warehouse in Gardner.
