Kansas City, MO – The Kansas City man who last year shot to death Kansas abortion provider, Doctor George Tiller has been sentenced to the maximum term.

Kansas City will get an extra 10 years to bring it's sewer system in line with EPA requirements.

Topeka is competing for a chance to be a test site for a new ultra-high-speed internet service from Google. City officials hope Google's decision to temporarily change its name to "Topeka" was a good omen.

Budget writers in the Missouri Senate are making additional cuts to next year's spending plan that was passed last week by the State House.

The Kansas legislature has approved a bill requiring autism coverage for state employees.
