Kansas City, MO – In yesterday's elections, all three ballot questions got the OK in Cass County.

Voters in the Kansas City Missouri school district backed candidates who support the Superintendent's plan to close about half the district schools.

Liberty voters approved an 8 million dollar bond issue for the next phase of Liberty North High school.

The Smithville district approved an almost 9 million dollar bond issue for improvements including a performing arts center and gym.

Budget writers in the Missouri Senate want to reverse a deal Governor Jay Nixon made to freeze tuition at state-run colleges and universities.

Companies that sell pesticides in Missouri would have to pay higher fees under a bill given first-round approval by the state Senate.

The former secretary of a Missouri-based Islamic charity has pleaded guilty to illegally transferring money to Iraq.
