Kansas City, MO – There are continued high temperatures in the forecast for much of Kansas and Missouri today. Temperatures are expected to reach 94 degrees this afternoon, while the heat index will climb to 108 degrees.

The people who challenged a Missouri ballot measure on health care have decided not to appeal a judge's decision dismissing their lawsuit.

A recent survey finds about two thirds of Missouri teens have not been vaccinated against meningitis.

A Kansas rancher has granted a permanent conservation easement on nearly 7,000 acres of Flint Hills native tallgrass prairie near Fort Riley.

The Kansas City Royals ended their six-game losing streak in dramatic fashion last night, scoring two runs in the tenth inning for a 5-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
