Kansas City, MO – Having two mayoral candidates on one influential committee triggered late July fireworks at City Hall yesterday.

A new statute commonly known as "Lexie's Law" has been in effect in Kansas since the beginning of the month. It requires all day care facilities in the state to be licensed and inspected.
