Kansas City, MO – The newly appointed panel charged with recommending a redistricting plan for Kansas City, Missouri held a lengthy first meeting, but it's possible the real decision making won't start until April.

The Mission city council approved what's being called a drive way tax last night. Mission will start charging fees based on the traffic properties produce.

Missouri's Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Robin Carnahan has been traveling small and large cities looking for votes and sampling condition of the economy.

More rural Missouri residents will eventually have access to broadband internet. Governor Jay Nixon announced $85 million will go into expanding network infrastructure in the northern half of the state.
