Kansas City, MO – A long and contentious redistricting process in Kansas City, Missouri is over for now.

The council also approved over a million dollars in improvements to police headquarters and authorized spending up to about $28 million for a new South Patrol station off Bannister Road near the old Bannister Mall.

Curbside recycling will soon be seen throughout Johnson County.

The University of Kansas and four non-profit groups will use a 13 million dollar grant to help reunite foster children with their birth families.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has cut 200 position since February.
