Kansas City, MO – Light rail advocate Clay Chastain has plans to run for Kansas City mayor next year as a write-in candidate. People fled 16 units of a burning Overland Park apartment building last night. None was injured. A discarded cigarette is blamed for the two-alarm fire. And agricultural prosperity has added to food prices this year. Meat, poultry and dairy products are on the list compiled by the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. These stories on KCUR's Morning News.
