KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four Missouri State Senators have ended their filibuster of legislation to draw down 105 million dollars in extended federal unemployment benefits.

Missouri House members have rejected legislation addressing the care of developmentally disabled people living in state facilities.

As the federal government moves closer to a shutdown, 1st District Kansas Congressman Tim Huelskamp is talking about what a continued budget stalemate could mean.

Private health foundations have given Kansas a $125,000 grant to help the state review its Medicaid program.
