KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A revised plan for redeveloping the Bannister mall area got the endorsement of a city council committee yesterday.

Governor Sam Brownback has signed a law aimed at controlling the proliferation of so-called "designer drugs".

Missouri lawmakers did well this year to keep public school funding at its current level, but fell short in other areas, according to the state's Education Commissioner.

University of Missouri curators will hold a special two-day meeting in Kansas City to discuss the search for a new system president.
