KCUR Arts Reporter Steve Walker shares his top movie picks of the week.This staggering and moving film from Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier deservedly won this year's Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. Set in both rural Africa and a Danish suburb, the movie begins as a study of the mentality it takes to implement bullying by juxtaposing a barbaric tribal leader in an African village with the cruelty prevalent on so many middle school campuses. As the movie progresses, it's clear Bier has more profound issues to tackle - mainly, what it means to be a man in a world where men are given so few options for dealing with their grief, sadness and anger. Great performances throughout.
