KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University officials have laid out their proposals for tuition increases at Kansas colleges.

The Missouri Ethics Commission has fined Representative Leonard Hughes the Fourth, a four-term Democrat from Kansas City, for problems with his latest campaign report.

Missouri's banking regulators want help from the courts to figure out if they need to release certain documents for a state audit. Officials at the Division of Finance say they're legally barred from releasing documents as part of a subpoena.

A freshman Missouri Senator wants Governor Jay Nixon to call a special legislative session to approve a site permit for a second nuclear power plant.

A priest in Liberty is charged with three counts of possessing child pornography after authorities reported finding images on computers he used.
