KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City police say a five-year-old girl is suspected of drowning a toddler in a bathtub.

After nearly 20 years, a public swimming pool is coming to Southeast Kansas City, Missouri.

A plan to sharply reduce the Missouri Department of Transportation's staff, facilities, and equipment was approved.

Missouri's Democratic Senator says after this year's flood season, she'll be looking closely at the way the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is managing the flow of water along the Missouri River.
