They caused thousands of accidents and all kinds of hardships — but they also produced very broad smiles from some quarters. Almost 2,000 People Get Free Dental Care In Wichita
Final numbers are still being tallied, but close to 2,000 people received free dental care Friday and Saturday at the Kansas Coliseum, near Wichita. Close to 500 dental professionals and at least that many other volunteers took care of the crowds that began gathering Thursday morning in the Kansas Coliseum parking lot. Kansas Senate Could Cut Governor’s Budget
Leaders in the Kansas Senate say they'll likely pursue cuts to the budget recommended by Governor Sam Brownback. A Senate committee recently endorsed a plan that would cut income tax rates. To help balance the budget, it would also eliminate the state's tax deduction for mortgage interest and keep the sales tax elevated. Learn more here.
Missouri Looks At A Permanent Switch To Daylight Saving Time
