Andre Byers on his book 'Slanted Subjects'

Kansas City, MO – Andre Byers is a Kansas City-born author, photographer, activist, and entrepreneur.
His new book Slanted Subjects is an unconventional volume of essays, photographs and short stories. Byers is a Harvard graduate, who is completing a PhD at Howard University and is interested in using his education to bring African Americans, and the rest of society, along to a better understanding of race relations. He now lives in Washington, DC, but came back to Kansas City to launch his new book and publishing company, Ingenius Press.
