The Kansas City Ballet tops off its 55th season with a playful mix of dance. Choreographer Karole Armitage's Jackson Pollock-inspired dance with music composed and performed by Bobby Watson in "Energy Made Visible" starts the evening's program. 

The music of Ben Folds and the voice of William Shatner in "Common People" ushers in a spirited performance with choreography by Margo Sappington.  In a reprise of Donald McKayle's "Hey-Hay, Going to Kansas City" completes the evening in exuberant celebration of the Golden Age of Kansas City Jazz.

Kansas City Ballet presents its spring performance through May 3 - 12, 2013.
