Frosty Cocktails For The Fourth

RECIPE: Dark Horse Whisk-a-Rita (Jefferson St. Margarita) 

Long Shot White Whiskey - 1 cup

Orange liqueur - 1/2 cup

Frozen limeade concentrate - 1/2 can

1 tablespoon of lime juice

1 tablespoon of roses sweetened lime juice

Frozen Whisk-a-Rita:

1. Combine ingredients in a blender
2. Fill blender with ice 3/4 of way full
3. Blend until smooth

On the Rocks Whisk-a-Rita

1. Combine ingredients in a pitcher
2. Add 1.5 cups of water
3. Add ice and stir vigorously 
4. Garnish with lime and salt on rim if desired

RECIPE: Horse Feather

1.5 oz. Rye

0.5 oz lemon juice

2-3 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters

Ginger Beer

Garnish: Lemon Twist

1. Build rye whiskey, lemon juice and bitters in a collins glass
2. Fill with ice
3. Top with ginger beer
4. Garnish with a lemon twist
