Accused Killer Of Child, Mother And Two Men Delays Evidence Hearing

The man charged with killing a little girl, her mother and two men appeared for a first time in court today at Ottawa, Kansas.  The defendant said practically nothing.

Kyle Flack appeared in handcuffs, ushered by deputies into a courtroom filled with people who wanted to see and hear the man accused of murdering  four people.

The 27 year old Flack gave up his right to a speedy preliminary hearing.

He responded once to the Franklin County District Judge who asked a question. Flack said only, “yes, sir.”

The remains of 18 month old Lana Bailey were believed to be the body found over the weekend in Osage County.

The toddler’s mother, 21 year old Kaylie was also killed, as were 30 year old Andrew Stout and 31 year old Steven White who was 30 years old.

Flack’s bond remains at an extremely high $10 million.

He will have a technical hearing dealing with court procedure on July 8.
