Kansas City, Mo. – A strike by cement finishers has slowed or halted work at a host of major construction projects in Kansas City. Rank and file union members say a mediator has joined efforts to renew negotiations between Local 518 and the Greater Kansas City Builders Association. KCUR's Dan Verbeck reports.
