Voters go to the polls for Election Day on April 2, 2013 in many cities across the Kansas City metropolitan area. Decisions will be made about bond issues, school board and mayoral races, and more.

KANSAS
Johnson County (includes election issues for Bonner Springs, De Soto, Edgerton, Fairway, Gardner, Lake Quivira, Lenexa, Merriam, Mission Hills, Mission Woods, Olathe, Overland Park, Roeland Park, Shawnee, Spring Hill, Westwood Hills)
Kansas City, Kan.Seats on the Unified Government's board of commissioners and the Kansas City, Kan. Board of Public Utilities are up for grabs. Also, on the ballot, Mark Holland and Janet Murguia are vying to be the new mayor and CEO of the Unified Government.

MISSOURI
Jackson County (includes election issues for Blue Springs, Buckner, Grain Valley, Grandview, Greenwood, Lake Lotowana, Lake Tapawingo, Lee's Summit, Levasy, Lone Jack, Oak Grove, Raytown, River Bend, Sibley, Sugar Creek, and Town of Unity Village)
Kansas City, Mo.Kansas City voters will consider renewing a health tax levy (Question 1), removing exemptions from the city's hotel tax (Question 2), and limiting the city's future future financial involvement in weapons manufacturing plants (Question 3).
