Cantaloupe-Related Listeria Lawsuits Begin

SALINA, Ks. – A Seattle law firm has filed the first of what will likely be several lawsuits over a deadly listeriosis outbreak linked to cantaloupe from a farm in Colorado. None of the lawsuits involve Kansas so far, but at least two Kansans have died as a result of the outbreak. One case has been reported in Missouri.
