KCUR Wins Four Awards From Missouri Broadcasters Association's 2021 Contest

The MBA recognized KCUR reporters for a news series, feature reporting, sports reporting and best local website.

KCUR and its reporters received multiple honors in the 2021 Missouri Broadcasters Association Awards.

The annual MBA Awards competition is sponsored by the Missouri Broadcasters Association. Awards were provided for work produced from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

Awardees were recognized at the MBA Convention, held virtually on Aug. 7. A complete list of awardees can be found here.

These awards follow last week’s multiple awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters, the Pulitzer Prize for Audio Reporting won by KCUR’s Chris Haxel in June, and five Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards in May.
